Start: 08 Feb 2026 Last Date: 08 Mar 2026 Exam: 03 May 2026

About the Exam

What is NEET UG 2026?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG is the single largest medical entrance examination in India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) , NEET UG 2026 is the qualifying gateway for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), and other nursing courses offered in government and private medical colleges across the country.

It is a pen-and-paper-based (offline) exam that tests students' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Important Instructions

Top Preparation Tips for NEET 2026

  1. NCERT is King: Read every line of your NCERT textbooks (especially Biology) at least 3-4 times. Most direct questions are asked from here.

  2. Time Management: Create a strict timetable. Allocate equal time to Physics and Chemistry, and slightly more to Biology due to its high weightage.

  3. Practice Numericals: For Physics and Physical Chemistry, practice numerical problems daily to improve speed and accuracy.

  4. Mock Tests: Take weekly mock tests in a timed environment. This helps in understanding the exam pattern and managing stress.

  5. Revision: Maintain short notes for quick revision of formulas, diagrams, and scientific names.
