Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationals (citizens of India) are eligible to apply.
Graduate with shorthand 100 wpm and typing 40 wpm (Personal Assistant); Graduate with typing 40 wpm on computer (Junior Judicial Assistant); Matriculation pass with LMV driving licence and 2 years driving experience (Process Server).
- The candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in the Constitution of India.
- The candidate must satisfy age, educational qualification, and experience criteria as per the recruitment rules of the user department.
- Age is to be reckoned as on 01/06/2026.
- Educational qualification and experience are to be considered as on 04/11/2026 (cut-off date).
Reservation criteria for the recruitment include:
- OBC (Delhi) certificate holders, irrespective of whether the certificate mentions the father, siblings or paternal uncles, are eligible.
- OBC certificate issued by a competent authority outside Delhi is also accepted provided it is based on a Delhi OBC certificate of the candidate’s father, siblings or paternal uncles who resided in Delhi before 8 September 1993.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) having disabilities other than One Leg, Both Legs or Low Vision of 40% or more are eligible with category-specific relaxation in age and marks.
- PwBD candidates with writing limitations are granted compensatory time irrespective of whether they use a scribe.
- EWS candidates must possess a valid Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2025-2026, issued on or before the last date of application (04/11/2026).
- Ex-servicemen are eligible as per the prevailing Government of India rules.
- Age relaxation shall be given as per Government of India instruction where mentioned.
- Ex-servicemen already employed under Central Government/Delhi Govt in Group C & D posts on regular basis after availing reservation benefits are not eligible for ESM reservation and fee concession, but can avail age relaxation for higher posts.
- Relaxation in age-limit applies to Physically Handicapped/Person with Disability irrespective of whether the post is reserved or not, provided the post is identified suitable for persons with disabilities.
- Candidates must satisfy themselves regarding essential educational qualification, age, experience, and PwBD suitability.
- Only one online registration/application is allowed per candidate.
- Only candidates with Benchmark Physical Disability(s) status will be considered as Persons with Disabilities.
- Eligibility conditions except age criteria are determined as on 04/11/2026.
- Age eligibility is reckoned as on 01/06/2026.

PwBD suitable: (a) OL, BL, LC, Dw, AAV, SD/SI without neurological/limb dysfunction; (b), (c), (d), (e) Not Suitable.

Separate combined examinations shall be conducted for each post code i.e. Senior Personal Assistant / Personal Assistant (Post Code 805/26), Junior Judicial Assistant (Post Code 806/26), Process Server (Post Code 807/26) & Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon (Post Code 808/26) in accordance with the respective examination scheme mentioned at Para 4 of the Advertisement.
The preferences from candidates regarding the posts/departments will be obtained by the Delhi District Courts at the time of the interview. If a candidate does not exercise a preference, the allotment will be made by the Delhi District Courts at its discretion.
Preferences once exercised at the time of interview are final and cannot be changed.
Eligibility criteria, pay scales, post classification, PwD suitability etc. may vary across different posts. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for each opted post.

JUNIOR JUDICIAL ASSISTANT – District and Sessions Courts (Post Code 806/26): 151 vacancies (UR:63, OBC:40, SC:22, ST:11, EWS:15, PwBD:2, ESM:2, MSP:2). Pay: ₹5,200-20,200 + GP ₹2,800, Group-C. PwBD suitable: (a) B, LV; (b) D, HH; (c) OA, BA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, SD/SI without neurological/limb dysfunction, MDy; (d) ASD(M), SLD, MI; (e) MD involving (a) to (d).
Descriptive Test (English Language) – conducted for shortlisted candidates.
- Essay (250 words) – 30 Marks
- Grammar – 25 Marks
- Translation (20 words) – 20 Marks
The selection shall be made through the examination scheme as mentioned in Para 4.
Marks scored in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized if required, using the formula published by DSSSB. Normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit.
In case of invalid questions, they will be excluded and marks will be prorated.
Draft Answer Keys will be displayed on the DSSSB website after the examination. Candidates may submit online objections within the stipulated time.
The Board has fixed minimum qualifying marks as mentioned in the Examination Scheme and may prescribe a minimum cut-off mark for any post.
If two or more candidates have equal marks, seniority in age will be considered, followed by alphabetical order of first name.

Skill Test for Senior Personal Assistant (English):
- Passage of 550 words dictated in 5 minutes.
- 40 minutes to transcribe on computer.
- Maximum permissible errors: 4% (22 mistakes).
- Two dictation attempts allowed; best considered.
Skill Test for Personal Assistant (English):
- Passage of 500 words dictated in 5 minutes.
- 40 minutes to transcribe on computer.
- Maximum permissible errors: 4% (20 mistakes).
- Two dictation attempts allowed; best considered.

Application Fee
Application Fee: ₹100 (One Hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the fee.
Payment must be made only through SBI e-pay. Other modes are not accepted and any fee paid otherwise will be forfeited.
The fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
Age Limit
Senior Personal Assistant: 18 to 27 years (as on 01/06/2026).
General age limit: candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 27 years as of 01/06/2026 (date of birth between 02/06/1999 and 01/06/2008).
