Job Description
Overview / Description
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) invites online applications for the recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Paramedical trades. The posts are combatised and purely temporary but likely to become permanent. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India (including abroad). The recruitment process consists of a Written Examination (OMR/CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (BVAT), and Medical Examination (DME/RME). The final merit list is drawn based on written exam performance.

Educational Qualification

Note: Certificates from non-State/Central Boards must be accompanied by a Government of India notification declaring equivalence to 10+2 for Central Government service.

Tattoos are permitted only on traditional sites (left forearm/dorsum of hands) with religious symbols/name, size less than 1/4th of the body part.
Disqualifications: A person who has a living spouse and marries again (unless exempted), or has been dismissed from Government service.

Payment Modes: Online (Net Banking, Credit/Debit/Rupay cards, UPI) or Cash at SBI branches via SBI Challan.
Important: Fee once paid is non-refundable and non-adjustable. Bank charges/taxes are borne by the candidate.
Challan Payment Deadline: Cash can be deposited at SBI branches up to 09th July 2026 (within bank working hours), provided the challan was generated by 07th July 2026 (2359 Hrs).
Age Limit
Age Range for Direct Candidates: 18 to 28 years as of the closing date.
Crucial Cut-off Date: 07th July 2026 (closing date for online application).
