✅ Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the main written exam based on their normalized scores from the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. The commission will call up to 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies for the written exam .

  2. Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the main written exam, the pattern and syllabus for which are detailed above.

  3. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for document verification.


Educational Qualification

As per the Uttar Pradesh Government Statistical Service Rules, 2012:

  1. Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Statistics from a recognized university (or equivalent as per government order dated June 24, 2024).

  2. Computer Diploma: 'O' Level diploma from DOEACC Society OR a minimum one-year diploma in Computer Science from a recognized university/institution.

  3. Hindi Knowledge: Proficiency in Hindi in Devanagari script.
