- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from recognized institution
- AMIE in relevant branch recognized by Institute of Engineers

Nationality: Must be citizen of India or as per rules
Age Limit: 18-40 years (as on 01 January 2027)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Male, Rajasthan): 5 years
- General Female: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Female, Rajasthan): 10 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
- JE (Civil) Degree: Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university/institution. Final year appearing candidates can apply but must produce degree certificate before main exam.
- JE (Civil) Diploma: Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized institution OR AMIE (Civil) India. Final year appearing candidates can apply but must produce diploma certificate before main exam.
- JE (Mech/Elect) Diploma: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from recognized institution OR AMIE in relevant branch.
Additional Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and Rajasthani culture
- Good mental and physical health with no defects affecting duty
- Good character certificate from last attended educational institution and two responsible persons
