Preliminary Examination (Objective, 200 marks, screening test only)
Main Examination (Descriptive/Analytical – 4 papers of 200 marks each) + Personality/Viva Voce (100 marks)
Final Merit: Based on Main Exam written marks + Viva Voce marks (Prelim marks not counted for final order).

2. Main Examination
Qualifying for Main Exam
Number of candidates admitted: 15 times the total approximate number of vacancies.
